Ōtorohanga: farms and lifestyle blocks in Ōtorohanga District
Doug Wakelin, Rural/Lifestyle Sales Consultant, Property Brokers Te Awamutu
Short answer. Ōtorohanga District had 10,410 usual residents at the 2023 Census. In the wider rural area, subdivision is mostly limited to boundary shifts or one extra title on properties of 20 ha or more with titles older than September 2010. Countryside Living areas around Ōtorohanga and Kāwhia allow rural residential subdivision on identified access roads.
